Course Areas

A Course Area is a general classification that groups courses into subject areas when they are accredited or registered by the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS). For example the Business and Economics courses are both categorised as 'Business/Commerce'. This allows students studying studying both courses to complete a major in Business/Commerce by selecting units from either subject to count towards their major.
